Bluewater Concierge Desk – Retail Design

Bluewater, the flagship shopping centre in Kent owned and operated by Lend lease commissioned HRG to further enhance their ‘guests’ experience by revamping yet another of their Concierge Desks.Earlier this year we completed phase one of the Bluewater Concierge Desk retail design project, involving the conception, manufacture and installation of the main Concierge Desk outside M&S on the lower mall and we recently have completed phase two by replacing  the second Concierge Desk in the Red Area on the upper mall.

The brief was to propose a new retail design for their desk in line with the look and feel of the first desk due to the fantastic staff and guest feedback received since its installation – a great compliment! A project of this nature involves the complete removal of the existing desk, site preparation, electrics, data and installation of the new desk. This all had to be completed within a one week window as the down time of the desk had to be kept to the absolute minimum. .

The new Concierge Desk with its contemporary look is already proving a huge hit with guests and rising footfall and GiftCard sales demonstrate the early signs of success.

And the story does not end there….we are currently building a third Concierge desk to be located in the Plaza area adjacent to the exciting, new multi million pound Events Centre which opens its doors  shortly.
