Smart TV looks incredibly exciting and on a recent visit to a Curry’s Megastore (Merry Hill Centre), we noticed that Samsung, LG & Sony have their latest TV’s on display ready for the Christmas trade, all demonstrating this new interactive way of watching TV.
So what exactly is Smart TV? Well basically it is a new interactive and intuitive way to watch TV. You use a smart wheel on screen to see what other programs are being broadcast at the same time as the program you’re currently watching. There is a “smart shopping” feature which enables you to access product and price information of the product being advertised or shown in a program – neat eh?
You can access the internet with your TV remote control, and see what your friends are viewing and chat live about a program. Perfect for live football matches!
