Clinking our glasses in celebration, we’re pleased to announce that our creative travel retail display for Hendrick’s Gin was nominated for a prestigious Cream Award. Recognising the very best creativity in the Midlands, East, South West & Wales, Drum Cream Awards have nominated the Christmas 2016 project in the category Design: Environmental/3D Design (Including Exhibitions).

For the engagement at Singapore’s Changi Airport, we took on the challenge to raise brand awareness by truly delighting travellers in the distinctive quirky style that is Hendrick’s hallmark.

The greatest little show

Our display box was a beguiling sight for any passing traveller. Peeking inside they were entertained with an intriguing spectacular called the ‘Marvellously Miniscule Mechanical Travelling Flea Circus’, with a cast of miniature animated Hendrick’s bottles performing a set of amazing circus tricks.

Taking inspiration from the heritage of Hendrick’s, the miniature theme relates to the gin’s small scale production. Small batches allow the William Grant & Sons distillery to create its discerning quality and appeal to people with a taste for refinement.

Distinctive detailing

Like the gin production itself, our creatives focussed on getting every detail perfectly right with a blend of antique style props and graphical embellishments, to build a luxurious theatrical presence. Installed for a month and taking three weeks to build, the miniature circus embodied the sheer magic and awe of enjoying Hendrick’s at this festive time of year.
